Is The Diet Solution a Scam?
The Diet Solution is a diet program that is advertised online and advertises that it can cause weight loss by finding the right metabolic rate for each individual person. However, there are some sites with reports the Diet Solution scam. Ripoffreport.com has had many complaints made against this company.
The number one reason of complaint is that it is unclear in the video that markets the product that this is not a hard copy product. The manufacturers of the product Jeff and Isobel claim that their product was never intended to be thought of as actual books, but a PDF e-book that can be downloaded. The complaints from most people are that they were never delivered the product, and had no idea it was only a download.
One person states that he was misled because in the advertisement there are legit books and was asked for a mailing address and to pay shipping fees. He said that nowhere in the advertisement was it made clear that this was going to be a download until after the purchase had already been made.
This complaint was responded to by Jeff, who stated that since there had been lots of confusion as to whether these would be hard copies the video had been updated to be more clear about the PDF download. Many comments even agreed that this was made obvious in the video. However, there were still complaints. One man, who was trying to decide beforehand whether this was a good program, said there were lots of miscommunication on the site. He tried to look at a link for four foods that should never be eaten and was instead led to a sales pitch.
Another complaint by one woman was that the site was too hyped up and gimmicky. They sellers try to hide information, so the consumers continue to look for it. Only they are going through the site to only find more pushy salesmanship, but never really getting any answers. These answers for questions such as how much is this product, and is it really a book.
For those who have actually received the product, they seem to have had good results. It is not that the program does not work, it just seems like there are some kinks that need to be worked out by the sellers of this product. Having a good product is pointless if the person selling it cannot communicate it correctly to the public. Jeff and Isobel have said that they have already updated the site. It is recommended for anyone that was interested in the past to revisit the site and see if the problems still exist. New companies always have little problems that will get worked out eventually.
